The Midvale Arts Council sponsored its Annual "Concert and Picnic in the Park" at 400 W 7500 S. This year’s featured entertainment was the Saltaires Show Chorus. Admission was free as patrons brought lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic dinners for a great evening of entertainment.

The Saltaires gave an impressive performance this evening at the Delta Center - and then sat back to enjoy a great victory by the Utah Jazz. The Saltaires sang a stirring rendition of the national anthem during the Utah Jazz opening festivities at the Delta Center today. Images of the Saltaires played on a screen as the national anthem was sung. Afterward Larry Miller declared, "It's such a pleasure to hear the anthem sung the way it's supposed to be sung!" A great time was had by all.

Imagine from out of the blue, four men bearing flowers appear at your sweetheart's home or work place singing a sweet, tender love song in gentle close harmony. That's just what happened on Valentines Day as Saltaires quartets provided a Valentines Day gift that will be remembered forever.
